A Little Bit About Me...
Walking the path of earth-based spirituality has been a way of being from my first snippet of memory. I have always felt drawn towards the wonders of nature, and found the divine in everyday seasonal miracles such as a flower blooming, ice shifting back to it's fluid state, or the sun staining the sky in vivid colours at the start and end of each day. The divine is all around us, it encompasses and resides within us, it is the very thing of which we and every other natural thing in the universe is made up of. This is the story of my journey along the Spiral Path.
I currently reside on a small island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with my ever-luvin' husband, and make my professional living in the creative field. My spiritual practice is my own, eclectic in it's nature, including aspects from many different teachings such as Paganism, Witchcraft, and Buddhism. I learn as I go, and incorporate what I have gleaned from my experiences into my practice. My ritual includes meditation, tarot, witchcraft, and herbalism. I celebrate and observe the Wheel Of The Year, as well as celestial events. While I experience the divine in a very real sense, I do not worship any form of god or goddess, although I am open to understanding them as archetypes and energies within my belief system. While my practice is currently solitary by virtue of not having like-minded folk to share the experience with, I would very much like to someday explore the possibilities of working within a group.
I believe that we are on this journey to experience as much joy as possible, and open myself up daily to the infinite possibilities of abundance that the universe can provide. I choose to craft my own reality, pushing always towards greater awareness, reaching out for unity of spirit and consciousness, and creating a supportive and positive environment that nurtures the ability to grow towards that which we wish to be. More than anything else, I am a continual work-in-progress, who feels blessed to have the opportunity to be exactly that.

Speak of Secrets...
Speak of Secrets grew out of a three fold desire:
The first is purely from the standpoint of having a venue to process my own spiritual development. Not only do I enjoy writing as a form of that process, but I am well aware of it's impact on my being able to learn and advance. It is the same reasoning behind why I enjoy documenting any subject of study - everything becomes clearer, and sinks in much more deeply when I can express those experiences in words.
The second is that although my practice is currently solitary, I yearn to connect with others within the Pagan community. I view having a publicly-accessible blog as a means to opening a discussion by which we all will grow and learn, and I encourage you to become involved in the conversation by leaving comments on the SoS blog posts, or by dropping me line via the contact form. Please do feel free to share links back to your own blog, I would love to have the opportunity to learn and share with you in your own online world!
The third idea behind hosting a website for my spiritual musings is to cultivate the sharing of information, knowledge, and resources. This is a path I have been walking all my life in one form or another, even if the commitment to building meaningful ritual to support it is new(ish) development in my life. If what I assemble here can help one other person out there who has decided to embark upon a similar journey, then it will have been well worth the effort.
It is my hope that you will see fit to speak to me of your secrets, so that our shared collective consciousness can continue to expand outwards, in much the same fashion as the spiral path that we find ourselves journeying along does.
Thank you for joining me here.
